OHV Bylaw

SITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

  • Alberta Beach Off Highway Bylaw
  • OHV operation prohibited from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am
  • OHV excessive noise/flame/spark prohibited
  • Snowmobile operation from November 1st to April 30th only
  • OHV operation lakefront prohibited April 1st to October 31st
  • Operate OHV  on roadway from residence to a permitted area and back to residence by the most direct route possible
  • OHV maximum speed of 10 km/hr
  • OHV shall operate  on the right hand side of the road
  • OHV shall be limited to the driver unless designed to carry a passenger
  • OHV operators  are not permitted for travel to utilize village services
  • OHV shall not park anywhere other then a residence
  • OHV prohibited on any park, school grounds or restricted area
  • OHV operator shall obey all control devices
  • Residents on OHV shall use the alleys and lanes of the Village to Trails
  • OHV are prohibited on 47th Street or 50th Avenue (except crossing)
  • All persons on OHV shall wear a helmet
  • Extreme fire hazard or weather conditions, all use of OHV may be banned
